Caitlin Clark Gatorade Contract

Caitlin Clark Signs NIL Deal with Gatorade

Iowa's Star Player Becomes Energy Drink Company's Latest Ambassador

Clark, a National Player of the Year, Joins Growing List of Athletes Partnering with Gatorade

Caitlin Clark, one of the most accomplished names in college basketball, has signed a NIL (name, image, likeness) deal with Gatorade. The multiyear contract makes Clark the latest athlete to partner with the energy drink brand.

"I'm thrilled to join the Gatorade family," said Clark. "Gatorade is a brand that I've always admired for its commitment to excellence and its support of athletes.

Clark, a junior at Iowa, is a two-time Big Ten Player of the Year and the 2022-23 national player of the year. She has led Iowa to two Big Ten championships and two NCAA Tournament appearances.

Gatorade is a global leader in sports nutrition and hydration. The company has been a partner of the NCAA and the NBA for many years.

"Caitlin is a rising star in college basketball and an inspiration to young athletes everywhere," said Gatorade Senior Vice President of Global Marketing and Brand Strategy Jeff Kearney. "We're excited to have her join the Gatorade team and help us inspire the next generation of athletes.

Clark's deal with Gatorade is the latest example of the growing trend of college athletes partnering with brands. NIL deals allow athletes to profit from their name, image, and likeness, which was previously prohibited by NCAA rules.
