Canucks Control Pace of Play, Outshoot Oilers 17-4 in Second Period

The Vancouver Canucks overcame a three-goal deficit to beat the Edmonton Oilers 4-3 in Game 3 of their Western Conference playoff series. Conor Garland broke a tie with 5:34 left and the Canucks held on for the win. Brock Boeser had two goals and an assist for Vancouver.

The Canucks controlled the pace of play in the second period and outshot the Oilers 17-4. They also scored two goals in the period to cut Edmonton's lead to 3-2.

The Canucks will have an opportunity to advance to the Western Conference Final with a win in Game 4 on Saturday night in Edmonton.
